A free addition to Internet Explorer that filters
out unsuitable sites and includes some useful features for children.
Downloading the "surf monkey bar" is relatively quick (15 minutes
maximum) and free. The surf monkey bar appears at the bottom of
the IE window when installed. TIP:- Right click within the IE window
if it does not happen automatically once installed. The filter works
well, baring access to unsuitable web pages and cleverly filtering
out bad language. It even seems to stop children using some obvious
words within search engines. This is an excellent safety feature
but nothing can substitute for parental supervision and talking
to your children about acceptable use!
