Bringing learning to life literally!! The session will include creating and editing movies, creating songs, scoring soundtracks for short movies, using augmentative reality to explore topics, making collages and comics in a simple way.

Showcase school – Eccleston Lane Ends Primary, Partner - Espresso
Eccleston Lane Ends have been using Espresso in the classroom for a number of years and will share their experiences of what works well and how it can be used to extend learning at home using the Life Cloud. Margaret Baxter will demonstrate how the Espresso content can be used effectively and will give examples of how this has been used in their school.

Showcase school – Grange Valley Primary School, Partner – Education City
Find out how Grange Valley have been using Education City to improve punctuation, grammar and spelling to raise standards. See how it has been embedded cross curricular along with engaging parents with their children through homework projects. |

Showcase School – Lyme Primary, Partner - GBM
Lyme Primary has recently invested in 32 iPad’s and has been embedding their use in the classrooms. Learn how they have approached this, which Apps are currently in use to support learning in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 such as handwriting and counting. They will share how they use the iPad interactively with the class and their plans to develop their usage of iPad’s with their students.

Longton Lane Primary will be showcasing their experiences in the use of the Activ Response voting technology among other things and sharing their successes and challenges in creating a collaborative culture.

As good users of SIMS, Sutton Oak Primary currently use Assessment Manager to track progress and identify students from vulnerable groups.
The SIMS Team will be able to discuss the St Helens Vulnerability Matrix currently in development.
