Welcome to the Agilisys IMS booking website.  Please find information and links to all the courses and events which Agilisys deliver to St Helens schools.  All courses run in our training suite at Alexandra Business Park but can also be booked on site in the comfort of your own school using your own school data if you wish.

The training brochure is reviewed and published at the beginning of each term with new courses being added all the time.

Technology in Education Communications Event - Thursday 21st June 2012

New for Summer 2012

Discover Overview – Discover is an application designed for high performance data analysis. Discover brings key information to you with straightforward drag and drop actions. This hands-on course provides an overview of the capabilities provided by Discover, to ensure that you can effectively use Discover to analyse your own school data. In conjunction with the LA we will demo the software as part of Narrowing the Gap Agenda.

SIMS Preparing for the New School Year – Covering the preparation of the school’s Pastoral arrangements for the new academic year, new pupil intake and associated activities.

What’s New in Equipment Register - An update to the existing Equipment Register course. It will cover using the new Asset Management functionality within Equipment Register added to FMS 6.144

Key Stage Entry Explained - An introduction to recording the statutory Key Stage results in SIMS, using the Key Stage Wizards. It will also cover creating reports for parents and exporting results to the required agency.

System Manager 7 – Ideal for those who wish to gain the skills required to manage users of their SIMS system.

Dinner Money – For schools that have purchased the licence and currently have dinner money installed on their SIMS system.

As previously, due to the number of courses cancelled, primarily due to a lack of uptake, the courses are advertised with provisional dates. Once we have booking forms for at least 3 delegates for the same course, we will then arrange a mutually agreeable date for all delegates to attend, based upon the information that you give at the time of booking.

From time to time extra courses may be advertised separately dependant on specific issues which need to be addressed within schools. If you have a specific training need that is not covered in this brochure, please contact the SIMS team, via the normal service desk number, 0808 178 6996
